Compentcy 6- Library Literature-Citation Pearl

Library Literature

Citation Pearl.

Using the article, “Leading from the Middle” by Margaret Thomas, a citation pearl search was used to find like articles.

I used the subject of “Administration”, found in the subject of the citation, and the author’s name to find like titles.

I located the following six articles.

The search resulted in three more articles that addressed the information need of library management/administration. The 3 articles area as follows.

Using the citation information from the original article I was able to easily locate other articles that were equally valuable to my information need.
